The Florida State Firefighters' Education Foundation was established in 2004 by the Florida State Firefighters' Association as a dedicated vehicle to raise funds for the fire service across the State of Florida. Headquartered in Avon Park, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered with the State of Florida.
From the day it was founded, the Foundation has had a singular focus: get resources into the hands of the firefighters and departments that need them. Every dollar raised goes back into training, education, equipment, and the general welfare and safety of Florida's firefighters.
To provide educational opportunities for firefighters and EMTs — as well as the general public — and to encourage fire safety among the citizens of the State of Florida.
The Foundation serves career and volunteer firefighters and EMTs across the State of Florida — and the citizens they protect every day. We work hand in hand with the Florida State Firefighters' Association and fire departments throughout Florida to identify needs and direct resources where they will have the greatest impact.
The FSFEF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN 03-0521158) registered as a charitable entity with the State of Florida. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. The Foundation maintains its principal office in Avon Park, Florida.
